Hey, what’s up?
I’m Shanté, born and raised on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. While I love me some Manhattan, the rent is too damn high there, so I migrated to the Bronx a few years ago. We have a love-hate relationship, the Bronx and I, but I’ve grown to appreciate its authenticity. It’s honestly the New Yorkest borough in New York City during these gentrification times.
Anyways, my favorite color is red, I love to sing, and I do a lot of creative shit well. I know it’s recommended that newbies to social platforms pick a niche and grow a following around that niche (and then expand their topics/content) but that just ain’t me. This is going to be my space to talk about whatever I want to talk about. One day I might want to talk about an album or a book that I’m obsessed with and then the next day, I might want to talk about my frustrations with sewing or the reason why salamanders are the only amphibians that I like. Content may come in the form of a written post, a graphic, a video… Who knows?
The one thing that is certain is: You will have fun here. You won’t be scammed or lied to and you will get cursed out for disrespecting a fellow reader (I can’t stand watching people get bullied).
