I don’t have the words tonight but the women below do. It’s interesting because each video, organized in the order that I viewed them in, captures the emotions that I was feeling at the time that I viewed them. They also seem to represent different emotions in a somewhat grieving-like fashion. First we start off with anger, then we try to analyze the facts, and then we eventually land on a processing faze.

Black women are far too familiar with the bullshit that will inevitably ensue under Donald Trump and we already have the tools to endure it (we’ve been processing and adapting on a loop for centuries). So, in Tenicka Boyd’s voice: Don’t ask Black women if we’re okay. Are YOU okay?
